Donation Terms

Voluntary Gifts

Donations are voluntary gifts supporting the charitable mission of ShelteringTree Ministries.

Use of Sponsor Rest Gifts

100% of Sponsor Rest funds received by ShelteringTree Ministries are designated for direct retreat expenses. These expenses may include verified at-cost lodging, cleaning and required property charges, first-day hospitality, approved travel assistance, and other documented guest-specific costs directly connected to a confirmed retreat.

General website, marketing, and administrative expenses are currently funded separately and are not paid from Sponsor Rest gifts.

Federal Tax Status

ShelteringTree Ministries, Inc. is a Florida not-for-profit corporation. Its application for recognition of federal tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) is pending. ShelteringTree does not currently represent that contributions are tax-deductible. Donors should consult their own tax advisers.

Payment Processing

Donations are processed through an independent third-party fundraising or payment provider and are subject to that provider's security, privacy, and transaction terms. ShelteringTree does not store complete payment-card details.

Receipts

Transaction acknowledgments may be provided electronically but are not personal tax advice.

Refunds and Errors

Charitable gifts are generally final. Donors should contact ShelteringTree promptly regarding an unauthorized, duplicate, or erroneous transaction. Any correction or refund remains subject to review and the payment provider's rules.

Recurring Gifts

Recurring gifts may be changed or canceled through the fundraising provider or by contacting ShelteringTree.

No Goods or Services

Unless a particular campaign expressly says otherwise, no goods or services are provided in exchange for a donation.
