Sponsor Rest gifts are designated for expenses directly connected to restorative retreat stays. Host partners may donate available nights or provide them at a verified at-cost rate. Sponsor Rest gifts help cover documented expenses directly connected to confirmed retreat stays, so every confirmed retreat stay includes lodging at no cost to the guest.
Lodging at No Cost
Every confirmed retreat stay includes lodging at no cost to the guest. Host partners may donate available nights or provide them at a verified at-cost rate.
Direct Property Costs
Necessary cleaning, turnover, required lodging-related taxes, or other documented property expenses directly connected to a confirmed stay.
First-Day Hospitality
A welcoming meal provided through a host, restaurant, meal voucher, or hospitality gift to help guests settle into their retreat.
Approved Travel Assistance
Limited assistance with airfare, rental transportation, or other necessary retreat travel when designated funding is available and assistance has been approved.
100% of Sponsor Rest funds received by ShelteringTree Ministries are designated for direct retreat expenses.
General website, marketing, and administrative expenses are currently funded separately and are not paid from Sponsor Rest gifts.
ShelteringTree maintains separate records for Sponsor Rest gifts and uses those funds only for expenses directly connected to approved retreat stays.

Giving With Confidence
ShelteringTree Ministries, Inc. is a Florida not-for-profit corporation. Its application for recognition of federal tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) is pending. Donors should consult their own tax advisers regarding the deductibility of contributions made before federal recognition is issued.
